During the 2025 Marché du Film in Cannes, Luca Severi Production Group Italia held close to one hundred meetings across the duration of the market, using the event as a strategic platform to expand international partnerships and explore new production opportunities. Our presence at the market allowed the company to actively present its activities, strengthen existing relationships, and identify concrete avenues for collaboration with partners interested in working in Italy.
One of the most significant outcomes of these meetings has been the development of ongoing negotiations to move a $2.5 million dollar film's location to Italy instead of the original country, with LSPG joining the project for the physical execution of the film. This reflects the tangible impact of our participation in the Cannes market and demonstrates our continued commitment to bringing international film productions to Italy.
European Film Market

During the 2025 European Film Market in Berlin, Luca Severi Production Group Italia engaged in an extensive series of meetings with international producers, sales agents, distributors, and industry partners, further strengthening the company’s global network and exploring new opportunities for collaboration. The market served as a key platform to present ongoing projects, discuss future partnerships, and reinforce the company’s presence within the international independent film community.
Among the most significant meetings was a dedicated discussion with writer and director Tekla Taidelli regarding her feature film 6:06. The encounter provided an important opportunity to further develop the relationship around the film’s international trajectory and distribution strategy. Luca Severi Production Group Italia is currently handling the Italian distribution of 6:06, following its successful festival run, and the meeting in Berlin marked a meaningful step in continuing to support the film’s visibility and reach within the Italian market and beyond
American Film Market
November 11th-16th, 2025
At the 2025 American Film Market in Los Angeles, Luca Severi Production Group Italia held more than 150 meetings throughout the event, further expanding the company’s international network and reinforcing its role as a bridge between the European and American film industries. The market proved particularly productive in generating concrete business opportunities connected to both production and post production activities in Italy.
Following the discussions held during AFM, the company is currently in the closing stages of five post production agreements that would bring American feature films to complete post production in our facilities in Rome. In parallel, conversations are underway regarding the potential relocation of the physical production of a $50 million feature film from Portugal to Italy. While still under discussion, this project represents a significant example of the type of international collaborations that can emerge from sustained engagement with the global film market and from the capabilities offered by our Rome based infrastructure.
